He was welcomed by his mom, dad, brother Killian, 7 aunts and uncles, 5 grandparents, and great aunts and uncles too.
Mick was a happy baby who loved to play and to eat.
When he was 7 months old Mick learned to crawl and we also learned Mick loves bacon!
We lived in a high-rise condo when Mick was a baby.
We didn't have a backyard, so the city parks were like our backyard.
Then Mick turned 1.
We moved to a new house in Noda with a backyard.
That same week, Mick learned to walk too!
His dad built a backyard swing that Mick and his brother loved to use.
Mick went on his first beach trip with his family, and he loved the ocean.
Toddler Mick really loved spending time with his big brother, Killian...
and being with his family.
Then Mick turned 2.
Mick had his first "rainbow birthday party."
Mick started a new school, called Open Door School.
Mick got his first professional haircut.
Mick ad his brother had fun playing together and scheming.
Mick took his first plane trip to Florida to visit his Oma.
Then Mick turned 3.
Mick had a beautiful rainbow birthday party at the park.
We moved again to a different house in Noda.
The swing moved with us.
Mick visited his brother Killian at Montessori school with his Grandma Maggie, friend JJ, and Ms. Megan.
Then Mick turned 4.
Mick had a fun birthday party at home and his Papou put on a magic show.
Mick visited Highland Mill Montessori with his brother for Beginner's Day. His older brother Killian help guide Mick to his classroom.
His brother showed him items in the classroom, and he also met Ms. Holly that day. He was so happy that there were animals in the classroom and Ms. Holly let him feed Cupcake. Mick loved the classroom so much, he didn't want to leave! He was excited to start Montessori school in the fall.
Over the summer, Mick went to art camp with his brother for the first time, and also learned how to swim. It was a fun summer with another beach trip to Myrtle Beach.
In the fall he started Highland Mill Montessori.
His friend from church and RE class, JJ, was in his class!
In the winter, he started taking taekwondo. Mick loves taekwondo class and achieved a special award for his focus.
Then Mick turned 5.
Tomorrow is Mick's 5th birthday. He is looking forward to eating dinner at his favorite restaurant and to his birthday party at Reedy Creek Park.
